The Tempest- Book Summary- Question-Answer

Act1, Scene 1(Summary)
A ship is facing great danger because of a tempest accompanied by thunder and lightning. It is carrying very important passengers including Alonso, the King of Naples, his brother Sebastian, Antonio, and old loyal Lord Gonzalo and other lords. They are returning from Tunis after King Alonso’s daughter, Claribel’s marriage to the King of Tunis. On account of the storm, as planned the ship is separated from others, their cabin, which was escorting it. The boatswain is giving instructions to the sailors so that the ship could be saved from destruction. A few passengers come out of the ship and try to enquire what is happening and whether the ship would be safe.
